I have a simple philosophy on networking and its “Show Up”. I have met thousands of people online but nothing beats face to face, physically present relationships. We are most likely to remember people we have seen personally. Life generally is about leveraging relationships.

Successful businesses know their customers more intimately than their competitors. Successful people know other people and connect with them personally to gain leverage. The more relationships you have, the more leverage you have when you need to solve problems. What will you do today to increase your
network. Last week I was at the CIPM conference and I cannot quantify what I benefitted, today I am at the HR Technology conference. Networking is one of the most essential parts of your career. Step out of your comfort zone, go out and meet someone new today.
